INTAGIO 6th Annual Gathering

May 30 - 2 June 2019
Pre-gathering workshops on 29 May 2019

Thessaloniki - Greece

The Annual Gathering

is a co-created meeting of colleagues with up to 30 participants, where there is time and space to share, doubt, discuss, listen, learn and work together.

The Annual Gathering 2019 will consist of:

  • Co-created professional content around Gestalt in Organizations
  • Informal space to meet one another, and the
  • Annual General Meeting (AGM) dealing with organizational matters and elections to the executive committee.

Connections to the Thessaloniki Gestalt Community, possible Practicals and other Attractors:

  • Gestalt in Greece – There is a thriving Gestalt community in Thessaloniki that we can connect to.
  • Local Clients – Due to high demand in the past to experience practical work, clients will be arranged for pro bono work with volunteer consultants from the attendants of the Gathering.
  • Unique Opportunities - The Gathering Committee is considering for the pre-gathering workshop to blend ‘relational outdoors‘ with ‘meeting the world where we are’, e.g. local refugee initiatives.

Our special invitation goes to all members to invite additional interested practitioners to join INTAGIO for this 2019 Gathering. Please share this invitation thoughtfully.

Any special offers to give something to our community, or requests to take away something from the Gathering that you would like to make in advance, as they can influence our meeting each other, please communicate to the Gathering Committee.

Description of the Hotel and Surrounds:

The Hotel Olympia is one of the oldest in the historical center of the city, recently renovated. It is a central boutique hotel.

The immediate surroundings include an archeological site, the Roman Agora, a lot of Byzantine churches, and beautiful picturesque coffee shops where we can meet. We will go to a different taverna or restaurant each night as Thessaloniki is famous for its Mediterranean cuisine. We will have a guided tour to see the city or parts of interest, we can organise an event on a ship (possibly after dinner), and go to a place to eat and dance on Saturday night with an orchestra. This time around the hotel is within the city.

There are memorable places nearby of historical or picturesque interest like Vergina, the capital of Ancient Macedonia, 70km from Thessaloniki, or Stagira the birth place of Aristotle in Chalkidiki, 92km from Thessaloniki.

3. Book your flight

The summer is high-season, so consider booking your flights well in advance.

Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece and has non-stop flights from/to 87 cities in the world. There are direct flights e.g. from Amsterdam, Athens, Basel, Belgrade, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Dnepropetrovsk, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Istanbul, London, Manchester, Milan, Minsk, Moscow, Munich, Riga, Rome, St Petersburg, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv and Warsaw, to name a few. In some cases, it might be cheaper to come with a non-direct flight (have a look at, or similar travel sites). If you are coming from the US you might need to catch a transfer flight usually at Athens, Munich or Frankfurt airports.
